The Testa Rossa mare appreciated the drop back in distance and the quicker tempo to score a last-to-first victory under Craig Williams. Trainer Tony Noonan has campaigned the mare extensively starting with a G3 victory in the 2008 Thousand Guineas Prelude at Caulfield. She was a Listed winner of the P.J.Bell Hcp at Randwick in April and added the G2 QTC Cup at Eagle Farm and Listed Glenlogan Park Stakes at Doomben during the winter carnival. Ortensia's dam Aerate's Pick has a 2yo colt by Kempinsky and a filly foal by God's Own. www.thoroughbredexpress.com.au |
